Crime of the Week 9-22-2017

On September 7, 2017, Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a work site in Lolo for the report of a burglary not in progress. The victim stated that more than $6,300 worth of materials and equipment had been stolen. The items included approximately 20 Kwikset deadbolts, approximately 20 Kwikset lever interior door handles, and approximately 30 closet fittings, including door handles and door stops. The victim described the materials as “Tustin Venetian Bronze” in color. Other stolen items included 3 Moen Chateau kitchen faucets and a Blue Graco powered paint sprayer (valued at approx. $4,800).

Crime of the Week 2-27-16

Detective More and MFD Fire Inspector Fraser are looking for any information about who started a trailer fire at 1600 Cooley #23 on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 1:51am. Witness described an adult male wearing dark clothes standing by the garbage pile in front of the trailer “flicking” something and then the fire started.

CRIME OF THE WEEK 12-08-2015

Missoula County Sheriff’s Office detectives need your assistance to solve this ongoing string of thefts.

Detectives are seeking information regarding the theft of antlers in the Seeley Lake area. The incidents date back to early August with a suspect or suspects stealing more than 10 sets of antlers from a residence on Cut Throat Drive. Since that time, four additional reports have been taken by law enforcement with approximately 50 sets of antlers reportedly missing.

Antlers can be sold for a varying amount of money depending on the buyer and condition of the antlers. The Seeley Lake Community Foundation is offering an additional monetary reward to supplement the Crimestoppers reward for information leading to the arrest of this suspect(s).

The crime occurred during the early morning hours of November 13th, at approximately 4am. (Missoula Police Department Report # 48911)

The person of interest may be driving black truck which was parked in front of the business two days earlier.

The Missoula Police Department needs your assistance to identify these criminal suspects. This couple stole credit cards and committing credit card fraud in Missoula.

The woman and the man pictured had stolen two credit cards from a motor vehicle and ran up $1000-$1400 dollars in fraudulent charges at stores along North Reserve street on November 1st and 2nd, 2015. They we’re photographed leaving Walmart in Silver colored passenger car. Reference Missoula Police number 47186.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance to identify a female suspect in the theft of a purse, fraudulent use of stolen credit cards and an illegal check cashing scheme.

A checkbook was stolen along with numerous credit cards inside a purse from a vehicle either at the Missoula Maze or at Spirit Halloween Store. The photos are from the Good Food Store, but there was also a check cashed at Flipper’s Casino. The shirt that suspect was wearing is a “Black Coffee Roasters” zip style hoodie.

Missoula Animal Animal Control and the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance to identify person(s) shooting 4 inch blow darts at dogs and cats in the Lolo area.

Some of the pets have been shot on the animal owner’s private property and have caused serious injuries to those animals. The animal shelter is offering a $1,200 reward that has been donated by local community members.
